How is the suggested price calculated?
Target margin + commission + ad + return form the variable rate of the sale price. Fixed cost (product + shipping) is divided by (1 − variable rate). Result is the sale price that guarantees the target net margin.
Price = (cost + shipping) / (1 − commission% − ad% − return% − target_margin%)
Tip
- Update return rate with your real data; 15%+ is normal in fashion, 3-5% in electronics.
- If you don't run ads, enter 0; but organic traffic alone is insufficient long-term — allocate 5-8%.
- 25-30% target margin is a healthy starting point; adapt to your niche / competition.
